AWS DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join an expanding cloud business. Your role will involve collaborating with clients from day 1 to build well-architected solutions on AWS. You will also have exposure to Azure and Google cloud. All of the companies environments are built using Infrastructure as Code.

Their certified AWS and Azure cloud engineers help leverage the advantages of hosting across multiple-clouds to meet an organisation’s unique needs.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent Linux / Windows system administration, scripting and automation skills (primarily with RHEL/CentOS) and a strong support background
  • Experience with one or more of Go (Golang), Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, PHP, etc
  • Experience deploying PHP applications to LAMP/LNMP stacks
  • The ability to speak confidently on the phone with clients
  • Creating and managing build/release pipelines
  • Excellent knowledge of git

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with AWS or Azure environments
  • Excellent knowledge of creating and updating ARM templates.
  • Experience deploying PHP applications to LAMP/LNMP stacks
  • Experience creating Ansible playbooks.
  • Experience writing C#
  • Jira and Bamboo.
  • Bitbucket
  • Up to date knowledge of AWS products
  • Ability to write CloudForrmation or Terraform
